This may be the first time you've written something like this, but you've done a beautiful job with it! I love the image of a bit of Mary held in trust at Marshall's house. I like how Marshall doesn't analyze it to death, and I particularly love how Mary, without analyzing it either, has created a pattern for herself to reinforce Marshall. The tank top & its life are a wonderful image for the simultaneous steadiness & tension between Marshall & Mary.
