there was a lot about this fic i enjoyed, the various characters being among them. Samus being a Symbiote host was one of the big ones.

but i also feel that this fic just doesnt fit with the current information we have about Venom and the Symbiotes/Klyntar. and thus i feel the biggest change needed is a major update to the Lore.

for instance, Venom is not evil. is he dark? yes, is he violent? sure. does he kill? yes he does. but he is not evil. he is an anti-hero. hell, the whole lethal protector arc in the comics establishes him as a dark hero with a body count, but who tries to protect the innocent. that is something i enjoy about his character. and i really feel we need to see that more in the update.

another thing we should see more of, is the traces of Grendel within Venom. the most recent arc gave Venom the ability to form draconic wings. this comes from the fact that Venom was born of the massive Symbiote conglomerate know as Grendel. which takes the form or a massive black symbiote dragon. best part? it has no host.

Grendel also seems to lack most of the weakness to heat and sound that other symbiotes have. and we have learned that older more powerful symbiotes gradually build up a tolerance to heat and sound, making fire and sonic attacks more of an annoyance then immediately lethal. and given Venom is supposed to be ANCIENT in this timeline? he would definitely be all but immune to fire and sonic attacks by now.

another aspect you never seemed to take advantage of, was venoms ability to shift his mas into different forms, such as blades and claws. instead focussing on the claws he already has. now while in canon he is unable to form shapes as complex as Carnage, he IS able to form basic weapons and blades from his biomass. though in my opinion, given how old venom is supposed to be? i get the feeling he would be capable of matching Carnage at this point in time.

the fact of the matter is, this iteration of Venom you are using is WOEFULLY out of date. now i am MOSTLY up to date with the Current venom arcs and abilities, and i have more then a few idea's to share if you are interested.

to be perfectly frank? i loved this fic in it's original form, but sadly the lore has not aged well with the most recent updates to Venoms backstory and ability list. so i am offering my services as a sounding board. sadly i cant be a full on Beta, as i have my own projects to work with, but if you just need someone to bounce ideas off, and help you flesh them out a bit? i am more then willing to help.

i have been DYING to find a decent Naruto/Venom crossover, and sadly most are either mediocre, or are so poorly done that reading almost hurts on a physical level.

thankfully this fic does not fall into either of those two categories.

also a final bit of advice? don't just replace the chapters in this fic. keep this fic up as a reminder and for those who enjoyed the original, and instead post the rewrite in a new fic. that way your readers can still review on the new chapters.

i say that last bit because your AN implies that you will be systematically replacing the chapters in this fic as you update them. this would not be a good idea.

and while that is my opinion? i think you will find many readers who agree with me in that regard.

At first it was good then turned quickly into a junk story. I lost all interest by chapter 7. I had to force myself to finish it and again I find it to be a junk bullcrap filled story. Parts are funny though.
