The first chapter is Absolutely Great!
The second chapter is super Intense I think I held my breath few times reading it.
The last three chapters is Heartbreaking I literally let out tears!
And I want to cry more now just by thinking about it...! Uuuuuggghhh

I avoid character death fic in DCMK Fic. Except where it was Kaito or Shinichi who die in KaiShin fic and because the author of those pics made multiple endings.
So I think this is the first time I read fic with Character Death in DCMK Canonverse where Good Canon character who haven't die (yet) in Canon die in fic.
My heart break...

is the story finished like this? or will you go on with it sometime? It's been 9 years since you updated, though.
i'd like to see how conan and kaito's relationship and maybe even the take-down of the organisation develops?

This was so beautifully written, I could feel my heart being crushed. It would go and make you smile and then the train of feels would hit you with no mercy.

I read this after seeing mangaluva's first trailer. You have an engaging story here, intensified by seeing Kaito's and Shinichi's experience in the rubble, as well as Nakamouri's death (I think secondary character death is always a great impetus for plot). I had been under the impression that the Gosho Boys were litterally the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse pretending to be human, but I'm enjoying the story just fine without that. I've always admired your writing (especially Carpe Noctem, Lullaby and Mayonaka, but also Bloodhound), and eagerly await the day in which your DCMK muse will resurrect with a vengence D

Oh yeaaaah, at least that damn Wakahisa knows that he mess with the wrong people. He shouldn't have offending a Nakamori, nor Kaitou KID. If he's really someone behind this tragedy, then he's so selfish. Maybe more selfish than Snake ... Didn't he realize that he has just killed innocent people? Does he hate KID that bad that he must injure people who just come to see the magic show of KID? Oh God ... he has no shame at all for standing there and give a speech ...

Koorii-san, this story is really wonderful. I really love the details and emotions in this story. In the first chapter, I can imagine a greyish sky above Conan's head, the emptiness in silence surrounding him. It's so gloomy and heart-breaking. Conan looks like he will break in any second with the weight he had to bear in his small back. And, I'm glad that he find someone who understand him, as I'm glad Kaito found that in Conan. The details you use to describe their surroundings, their minds, or just the seconds that has passed with Kaito and Conan come close to a death gate make me can feel the emotion in the story. I was crying when Hakuba brought the news to Kaito about Keibu. I know that the man is so dear for Kaito despite him always mock the inspector as a third rated inspector. After all, despite the eagerness to catch KID, sometimes Keibu worries about KID's well-being. Especially after the hiatus for 8 years. But, I'm sure that if the inspector know that KID is Kaito, he will forgive him. And poor Aoko... Because of a selfish man, she had to lost a father.

Keibu is such a great man. You show it in the chapter when he keeps saying that he is fine despite the wound in his stomach. And, the last words of him made me smile. Oh, how much a father figure Keibu is ... It's sad that Kaito had no time to revealed his identity aa KID to Keibu before Keibu dead.

Thank you for such a beautiful story. I really love it. I know it's such a long time since you've updated it. I've read your profile. I know the feeling of lacking interest in one fandom thus make it difficult to continue the story. However, I'll be glad and happy if you would like to continue the story, or made a quick ending for it :) And, I just want you to know that this FFn is great. So you have to keep writing :)

I think I have fallen in love with your style of writing. I enjoyed every word so damn much that I just could not stop reading. I have become addicted to this story now. What is more incredible, is that you just write stories like this and don't even get payed for it. Hands down, no joke people like you are god send :D
