Wait, Spartans were chosen from the genetic cream of the crop who'd done nothing but train for years nd the augmentations still killed plenty of them. I get your instinct to "awesome things up" but part of the reason the Spartans were interesting was they suffered and sacrificed to get where they were; now there's an OC who seems to just be handed respect and being a badawithout us seeing it?

Okay let’s be honest here there’s no way a katana can block a lightsaber less it is made with a special lightsaber resistant metal. Which even then I highly doubt it would be made out of such material. Other than that I like the story so far.

Considering the glowing streak of light and the lack of bullet drop in the games, even in space, it is safe to say the bullets are already glowing hot. Perhap UNSC guns in the games use a mix of gauss and chemical propellant to accelrate their bullets. Those are extremely heavy for their size, as they are depleted uranium cores jacketed in titanium, if I remember correctly.

Right. Working off of old memories here, but I remembered hating this fic, particularly for making the Halo Races superior to anything in the Star Wars Universe. Honestly, it came off as flat out insulting to the Star Wars universe, making anyone in-universe who didn’t like the Halo Characters straw losers, repeatedly insulting the inhabitants of the Star Wars universe for their every thought and difference. The fic showed unwavering favoritism towards the Halo Universe, both absurdly powering up everything from the Halo Universe and constantly making unflattering remarks about anything from the Star Wars universe that opposed them. Meanwhile, all the Star Wars characters not directly opposing the Halo Universe are endlessly impressed the Alliance Of “eight races”. That is nothing to the Star Wars Universe, host to countless different alien species and people with the ability to use the Force.

On a more personal note, I absolutely hated how the Clones were just skimmed over and ignored, even being replaced by UNSC Marines for guarding a prison on Coroscant. Their existence is brought up at the start of the story before being ignored altogether, and then Order 66 and BAM, instant condemnation.

The entire thing felt like one giant excuse plot
