I do feel really bad for Alfred since he basically got rejected (however temporarily), but at the same time I adored their dual proposal at the end. Like, it felt like they were on equal footing- there was no "bride" or "groom" or anything of that sort. Just two men - one more disgruntled than the other - asking each other to get married and agreeing.

I kinda do feel that Arthur did a shitty thing. To indulge his own dreams of how the proposal would go, he makes Alfred feel like he was rejecting Alfred's own?

Awwww...it was cute and fluffy. Just the way I like it :). Also...these "car boot sales" sound like flee markets or swap meets here in the states. Probably a few differences, but that's what I was picturing in my mind...so yea. I've seen some crazy "are they really tryin to sell that" things too...lol. always fun though...

One question- Why Hector?

I really liked this. I like that Arthur said no and Alfred like shut down. I love how upset he was, I love that he was the vulnerable one for once in these fanfics! Yes! Finally! And the end was rather adorable. Love it!

I love your style. It's so very addicting.

That being said, I must agree with poor Alfred - that was a rather dick move on Arthur's part. It gave the whole proposal a kind of competitive air about it, and that struck me as the tiniest bit catty on Arthur's part. But I do understand his motives.
