Ahaha I love it... Britin through another person's POV. I think though that Garrett should rest easy, his road for all intends and purposes would seem to be an easier one that Justin's. There is only one Brian fucking Kinney and don't think that anyone could be half as complicated or as closed off!

When I first saw that deleted scene...I freaked thinking that they were trying to say B/J didn't make it and Brian moved on to the guy who looked like Justin...Thankfully, I research and found out on wiki: The most notable deletion was a scene near the end of the episode that pays homage to the series' first episode. In the deleted scene, a young blond haired gay teen who looks like Justin is seen on Liberty Avenue, obviously for his first time, and as Justin did in the first episode, steps across Liberty Avenue and splashes through a puddle. This was meant to signify that the series had come full circle. It was ultimately deleted because the idea of "full circle" was already present in the final Michael-Brian scene (which preceded the deleted scene) and the use of the remix of "Proud" as the series' closing theme.

Needless to say that made me happy along with two interviews I saw and read. One was from the writers of the show and the other was of Cowen and Lipman.

The writer said they wrote the ending with the idea that after four months in NY, Justin returned back home to Brian.

It's really cool ! I was afraid at the beginning you'd make Brian fall in love with this kid, Garrett, but the end was really great, just like the rest 33

great ending. I always kind of disliked Brandon, but he is supposed to be a sort of Brian clone or something, so that definately worked.

A much much much better ending to the series. Great job! I'd love to read Brandon and Garrett's story.

I didn't see the Brandon bit coming! That's such an epic ending! And it kept in with that thought behind that ending aka gay life, the thumpa thumpa and babylon go on. The new Brian and the new Justin. Though NOTHING would beat the original!

I really enjoyed reading it. You write really well, Brian and Justin's kiss was SO vivid, it was like I was watching everything unfold. I loved the passing references to Emmett, Ted and Blake it really added something to the story - but you've gotta feel bad that Brian is still miserable without Justin. It's such a shame that every other character ended up with the perfect person (even Emmett met his childhood sweetheart, or whatever he was, skiing) but that the main couple (in my opinion anyway) ended up apart. Thank Google for fanfiction!
