Minor nitpick: craven means coward. I think in the line 'There wasn't any hint of humanity behind his craven, steely gaze', you actually mean carven.

I know it has been a while since you last posted a chapter, and I know your probably busy with life, but you still haven't posted the next chapter. And you'll probably not end up reading my comment but, you are a very talented author and I was looking forward to the next chapter of this fic. I appreciate all the time and effort you have put into this. It has a wonderful storyline and the plot development is eccentric, not to mention the characters' fascinating point of views. You are such an amazing author and I hope you post the next chapter. By the way I meant to post this comment on the last chapter, but I accidentally put it on here. Lol my bad!

I'm actually ashamed of myself that I didn't find this story earlier. I've never, ever (I can assure you that I've read quite a lot of stories on Fanfiction and other sites) read a story as captivating as this one. I just couldn't stop. This literally is the best story I've ever read on any site. For that, I congratulate you. Well done, you've managed to capture and hold my admiration. (Again, just to let you know, I'm a very, very picky person when it comes to stories.)

I myself have tried to write a story when I was younger.

I gave up at page 16.

Of course, I tried writing other stories about different ideas, but I never finished them.

That is also one of the reasons you hold my admiration. I mean, EACH chapter is like (average) 30 pages long. I can't even write a FULL story longer than 8 pages...

In the end, I hope this story shall never meet the same neglected and horrible end mine have endured and still are enduring

Mohammed is right, you have to respect ones religion by not altering what is in the Qur'an. If one tried to change the Qur'an we have what are called Haifz (Guaridans) of the perfect book. I love the story so far but PLEASE understand this. Good story though.

Hello, first off I want to say is that your story is pretty cool. But the other thing is about the imams changing the words if the Qur'an well it's impossible you see because the Qur'an never changed once so even if imams tried it wouldn't work. JTLYK. -Thanks

just wanted to ask if the story is still alive:-)

Finally got caught up. Really enjoying this story, even though I had some issues with the first couple chapters (took awhile to warm up to your OCs and to figure out that Maria and the Rose was in London and not Acre, as it seemed to imply in places to me). Would love to see an update soon, mostly because I want to know who wins that bet.

(Also, maybe some more development between Altaïr and Maria? :D) I wish I knew more about Armenia so I could understand the stuff involving Tagvoryan better. I think I'll read up on Armenia's history/politics/culture. I hope to see an update soon... ;)

Although this is a very thought out fiction however, I'd say if you are going to put non-fiction part in the story then here is a fact: Muslims believe Jesus (PBUH) to be the messiah sent for people of Israeil and the prophet as well. The prophet Mohammad (PBUH) was an example and a prophet to the entire man-kind, that they should follow. Also, it doesn't make sense that Altair being and assassin during the crusades doesn't know that Quran was revealed to the prophet through the angel Grabriel from God almighty. One of the reasons was that people were changing verses and adding verses in the bible and they still do it. But again all Altair is a fiction character and you're only the writer.
