This is the first 24 fic that I read, and I have to say... Intense. I would have liked to see Jack confront Tony after everything was all and done. Great interpretation on how it might have gone.

Okay, you offically made me tear up.

I always thought it was really sucky to have Jack lose his best friend as well. Look at everyone he lost. Teri, Kim (even though she didn't die), Tony, Michelle, Audrey (or Aubrey, I don't remember her name), and Renee! I mean, that's truly not fair! Well, at least in season 8 he still had Chloe and he was also able to have a little bit of time with Kim, Stephen, and baby Teri.

What they should do in the movie, the way that they end it, is to have Jack go back to CTU and walk out of there with Kim, Stephen, and baby Teri. That would be the perfect ending. A little bit of happiness for the man.

"Both men, mourning their losses and their lives, sat in that cold interrogation room weeping. Their lives had taken such different trails, but at heart they were the same. Both had lost their families, both avenged their deaths. Both men were broken and inconsolable. They wept together; they understood each other. Both of their lives were over. Both lives wasted. That is just brilliant!
