  Guest chapter 3 . 1/5/2018 Absolutely love the story but I'm just noting an error that may cause some misconceptions. Traditional Chinese is an older form of Simplified Chinese, both of which are sets of characters, not a dialect of Chinese. Using Traditional Chinese may suggest that the speaker is speaking Cantonese or comes from Taiwan because as far as I know, only Hong Kong and Taiwan still use Traditional Chinese till this day. However, there are many different dialects you could choose from since they all (or for the most part) use the same characters, such as Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien and Teochew. Not flaming here but bottom line: Traditional Chinese is not a spoken language, and Chinese consists of many different dialects (although 国语 / 普通话 to the Chinese typically refers to Mandarin which is the standardised dialect that kids in China learn i think.
