This is a wonderful story you have so far...I never knew I could love this as much as I like the Hunchback of Notre Dame! You placed the characters well, and made its own story and I am sp hooked! I adore Ryou being the angel of the church, Bakura being a sexy gypsy and even Marik being the Frollo! lol if this ever does get updated I would be happy! But I also understand when time and inspiration hit, it takes time! This is awesome and I have to say again great job and thank you!

I just wanna say, I was reading this story a year ago when you had just put up this announcement, and last night I watched the Hunchback of Notre dame for the first time in like two years, and I thought of this story, because I had been so into it when I read it originally. It's really fantastic, and I just reread it, and I just wanted to tell you how awesome it is, in case you hadn't heard that enough lately!

Ah... It's been over a year since this was updated.

I greatly enjoyed reading up to this point. I actually started it this morning and excitedly read it between my classes. Not many fics can keep me so enthralled. That last chapter left me on the edge of my seat! I do hope you come back to this, but of course life gets in the way of such unimportant things like FanFiction.

Though I do have to address the fact that, as far as I know, Gypsy is a slur, that they are actually called Romanians. But I'm not an expert.

Anyway, I'll follow this story and hope you update it one day!

This story is amazing! Well written, well paced and I find the characters very likeable (I actually still like Malik... Yeah I think I have a problem " personal favorite stays Bakura though 3) sure they can't be the same as in the original series but I like these just as much. I just discovered this story and I wanna say, don't worry about not being able to update regularly, after all, writing should be something fun. If you don't feel like it, don't force yourself to write. You're not giving up on your story and that alone is enough. Thank you for writing this story, it's great and I hope you will recover your inspiration for this story soon .
PS: I hope my english isn't too bad, 'cause I'm French .

You know, some people keep saying that writing fanfiction is something inherently uncreative. It's stealing other people's ideas, they may even say. And I don't usually agree with them... usually...

Your story, however, IS completely uncreative and stolen. Taking characters from story A and placing them into the world of story B is not creative. It's just a lazy excuse for writing from someone who couldn't be arsed to think of something original by herself!

Also, the disclaimer and AN bits in your first chapter are too long. They must not exceed one quarter of the actual chapter's length. I've reported you to the admins; prepare to have your story deleted and your account suspended.

It's sad that it has to go on hiatus for now, but seriously, I understand the feeling...when you love one of your stories, but you just can't find the will to work on it.
Please don't stress about it, I love this story, but I'd hate you to force it, or write without the passion you need.

Send me an email and I'll tell you everything. But just so you're aware, I have not abandoned my darling boys. In fact, they've been screaming at me for weeks now, so I've been trying to get them filtered out and organized so I can start back up on my fanfics again. I feel horrible that I've left them for so long...but I can't necessarily say I'm sorry. My family does take priority to fantasy. _

PLEASE UPDATE THIS! Oh my God this is...it's amazing! It's so detailed and well written and it had me on the proverbial edge of my seat as I read it. I love all the little twists and turns you've come up with, like Bakura being raised by the Mages. Wonderful. And the names - good Lord! I was reading it and when you were explaining Ryou's name I was like "THAT TOTALLY MAKES SENSE!"
And Malik! Shame on you! I can't exactly say that I was pleased by Malik's actions or that you made him evil, but I will say that you did a phenomenal job of twisting his character like that. You made him into a very believable villain. I just loved every second of this. (I'm Catholic too by the way.) It's definitely one of the best stories I have read in a very long time. So please update this soon!
