Oh. My. God. You wrote a Fullmetal Alchemist story too! You are quickly becoming one of my new favorite authors. We have so much in common! I really enjoy this story. I've been prowling the FMa section for awhile, and I've mainly been sticking with the Roy/Ed parental stuff. Never did I think there would be some good father/son fics in the Ed and Honeheim section. Thanks for opening this new window for me. I really am enjoying this story and hope to see an update for it very soon. Now I have two stories to keep an eye on! Thank you for bringing joy and entertainment into my life! :D

This is a pretty good story. At least they finally had that conversation in the first chapter and Ed's reaction is perfect. It's good to see that he's trying to make up for his past though it won't be easy. I look forward to seeing where you plan to go with this story.

Interesting take on the the in-between before the movie and after the first anime.

This, I like. Shamballalamadingdong is a FUN verse to write in, despite all the Movie's flaws. Ed's situation with his father at the end of anime v1 isn't written about nearly enough.

This is a very promising start. I love all that awkward tension between Ed and Hohenheim - you've captured their characters very well, Hohenheim trying so hard to atone for his absence, and Ed trying so hard to hate him even though he's his only tie to his own world.

Their conversation at the end of the chapter HURTS. That's the biggest difference between Hohenheim's anime v1 and manga incarnations, and you nailed it: anime!Hoho is a coward, and Ed, who is so strong, can't stand a coward. Really looking forward to more of them grappling with this Issue, and more of this fic in general :)

One nitpick: this being 1921, Hohenheim would not have a television set. Television was still very much a novelty, and not a household item - there weren't channels yet, and really no reason for an average citizen (or even a not-so-average one, like Mr. Four-hundred-years-old) to have one.

Keep up the good work! I'll be watching this fic, and that sounds really creepy even though that's not what I meant at all. Oh well.
