The poignancy of the last paragraph, where Tali is overwhelmed by emotion because she's home and experiencing all that home means, while Shepard is forcibly cut off from the same thing, is wonderful. Great, great job.

Wow! Just... wow.

The level of detail, the nature of what the suit does - supports quarian life at the expense of pain and loss of individuality and connection to the world around them, is absolutely amazing. Do you mind if I reference this for my own canon? I don't write Tali stories (yet), but I find myself increasingly intrigued by the concept of a man falling in love with a woman he's imminently suited to, very similar to, and yet can't touch. A human, with our culture, would find that terribly frustrating, but love would compel him to stay. This is simply brilliant work.

This is brilliantly and thoroughly thought out. Exactly what I was looking for, an exploration of what the enforced solitude of the envirosuit would mean to someone like Tali. Thank you for writing this!

This is probably the best fanfic on the implications of the suits on Quarian culture. It is very well thought out. Its sad that you never finished it but I'll keep this story on alert just in case you come back to it someday.

the specifics and background on the suits was wonderful and it actually made a great amout of sense and incorperated the pyshical features on Tali's suit - a yes, while I was reading I cross-referenced what I read with srceen shots of Tali's suit. :) nerd bliss, I look forward to reading this.

Wow! This is one of the best stories I have ever read dealing with Tali and the mass effect universe. I love how you really showed the depth Tali and Shepherd. The whole getting her first suit and the detail was amazing. I felt like I was there with her. I'm really loving the homecoming storyline and honestly I hope you keep writing. I love how you are showing the wide array of emotions from returning home and the moment when Sheperd broke down was so sad.

Also, I love how you are going into depth about Quarians culture and the struggles they are having with trying to retablish their home world. Also, I have got to know what the NSF was? I have an idea, but prefer to read the story. My only issue with the story was about the identities. I get how people might not recognize people without the suits, but I would think an advanced race would have thought of name tags or something. Maybe government issued id's. Also, how bad the guard treated Shep and Tali was awful, but I understand how it added to the story.

I would love to see a full novel from you one day. The Bioware team should hire you. I'm currently working on a story that details tails life during the missing 2 years in mass effect 2. I can't wait to read more from you and the homecoming story is very, very interesting please keep it going as I think there is a lot to explore and go into depth about Quarians culture and the new home world. Love seeing tali experience things for the first time and Sheperd experience things from a. Different pespective. 10 out of 10

Great story!

Yeah, yeah, good story an' all, but you've probably heard that one before...

One thing strikes me as odd, though: I had always imagined that people in the MW-Universe had digital ID or sumthin'. And with Shepard having his omni-tool on him an' all, I find it a bit confusing that he was unable to identify himself when this green boy confronted.

But aside from that, I thought it was a very... logical story. It felt right. Dunno if that makes any sense.

First I have to comment on how well written this is. I love the bitter sweet aspect to it. It was more of a realistic view of life and relationships in general. I get tired of all the "happily ever after" and teenage level puppy love stories out there. Good job.

Well THAT is exactly what I was looking for for so long. A perfect post-Reaper romance story, where everything is not "pretty-flowers" and where relationships are hard to maintain, where lovers beeing of different DNA is hard, and where everyone is not a good-doer.

I just wish there was more, because it can be THAT good.
