Hold up, now, three?! We'll be positively spoiled. I always have found July interesting. You know, I think people equate lack of emotion with cruelty (when, really, cruelty is often fueled by fear and emotional intensity) and the notion that July has an innocent sort of emotional detachment leaves a lot of room for exploration. He can experience curiosity free from fear, and be objectively good to others without needing an emotional motivator. He knows the stakes, it seems, and is willing to whisper secrets into Misaki's ear even though, by virtue of being whispered, those secrets could land him in trouble.
I have heard, on more than one occasion, that the strongest love lies in the choices we make to put other above self when the emotion can no longer sustain interest.
And I always thought it was ridiculous to distrust contractors just because they're "liars." Didn't humans start that first?
