This was a very adorable read. It could have been longer, bigger, more extensive as a several chapter story, but I'll take what I can get. And for now, just a simple, well written, and adorable slice of life story with a light touch of humor And a dash of the familiar Pokémon verse was more than enough.

I like it but it could be much better. There really isn't any obvious grammar mistakes but for some reason your story just doesn't flow very well. It might be the unnecessary words sprinkled throughout the narrative or some weird sentence structures. For example when you said "Eevee was resting on his stomach, curled up, asleep," the sentence sounds awkward. In my own opinion something like "Eevee was curled up asleep on his stomach" is a bit better. I know this is going to sound redundant but after you finish writing and start editing read aloud. You'll find out pretty quickly what flows smooth and rough. You can then rework it to make it more appealing.

I don't see Blue's way to see their friendship often, it'd change. I'm too much used to see protagonist's view of things.

I like the fact that Leaf have this influence on Blue. He had never come to the Mt Silver by himself. Leaf IS the glue to put Red and Blue's friendship's broken strings (I don't even know if it makes sense...I'm french.)

It's amazing, beautiful, spectacular, fracking awesome. It was a great read, the trio's personalities were spot-on, well as spot-on as one can make a silent protagonist- and I love that Barry cameo. AHAHA.

Wow, what a wonderful contribution to this fandom! I am in love with your style of writing. It flows simply, but still rather elegantly from one thought to the next. You encapsulated the sentiments of regret, nostalgia, inadequacy, and reform so well...I can't really explain it. Perhaps my favorite aspect of this fic is the significance you attach to the relationship between Blue and Red. They've grown apart and you've demonstrated that thoroughly through that one birthday memory. How awkward and yet, bittersweet.
