It has been a while since I have found anything so good, that I would read through it even though it's in a fandom I don't follow. :-P I'm only vaguely familiar with X-Men and haven't the slightest idea who these two are. That said, this piece was still completely understandable and flowed very well. I would continue reading this if you continued writing it. Your writing style is very catching. I'd been planning to skim... and I ended up reading. Well done!

I didn't know you'd written anything! :bemoans: And what a piece I was missing out on. This is well-written, intense, well-characterized, and just...lovely. It says so much about everything and it's everything Belladonna had wanted to do (there was a little comicverse Remy denying her, but here he doesn't). I like this what-if. Write more?

I'm normally not a fan of Belladonna and Remy. Their relationship was always made out to be wrong in so many ways throughout the comics. But this was very well written. It gave some depth to their relationship that few bother to give it and you pulled it off nicely. It shows that while Belladonna may not be the nicest person in the world to say the very least, she does care about Remy. The inner monologue throughout the story was very cool and even believable to an extent. I enjoyed it, but my only complaint is that it was too short. It left me wanting to read more. But I understand the reason for making it a one shot like this and I'm perfectly fine with that. Again, great job! Keep up the good work.

I always enjoy BellaDonna/Gambit fics. There are not as many as I'd like. I enjoyed this ... great job. Certainly another to look at how it could have gone has she not stayed with her family.

I've never really read any Belladonna/Remy fic before...But this is AWESOME. Sorry I can't be more specific than that.
