Ah great prologue! Only slight thing would be the flipping between tenses at times, but nothing glaringly obvious such that it messes with flow. I do love Arthur's already shining personality- just what has Alfred gotten himself into :o

So... You ARE going to update soon, right? It's been two freakin' YEARS. Not days, not weeks, not even months but YEARS since you last posted a chapter. Why must you torture us readers so? This story is SO. WELL. WRITTEN. The plot is SO. DANG. GOOD. But me? I'm SO. VERY. IMPATIENT. Please! I'm begging you! U-P-D-A-T-E! You can't leave us hanging HERE! What about closure?! The way England and America interact is just amazing! The pace their relationship is going at is perfect! The idea of France being America's rival is divine! But you know what idea is COMPLETELY NOT divine? The idea of you NOT UPLOADING the next chapter! So please, upload it soon because if I die while waiting for you to update your chapter, I will NOT rest in peace. Oh, and I'll most probably haunt you. And you should feel guilty if my soul doesn't rest in peace. You know why? Because then I won't be able to go to Hetalia Heaven. And not being able to go to Hetalia Heaven will kill me. A second time. Ignore the fact that I'd already technically be dead. Also, when you DO update, I'll award you with a cake!

God, your story is absolutely amazing! I fell in love with it inmediately after the first chapter. The plot is fantastic, the narration is great and i love the interactions the characters have between them, it seems to fit them so well it's natural to see them like that. I'm very eager to read more about the characters past and also wondering what will happen in the new arc has gotten me really excited! I can't wait for it!
