I like the shift to the 1700such Ireland. I'm curious if all the storylines have Kate as being poor or a criminal and Jack the opposite...

I've been so caught up in every chapter that I didn't post reviews until now. Your writing, time periods and this whole concept of meeting across different timelines are all captivating! Bravo!

This is such a great story and concept. And so well written. I know that you will likely never continue writing this, but I felt compelled to write a review because it was THAT good.

Rereading this, it's just so epic... I love this premise and your style of writing, the locations, the harshness, the various dreary situations, even the little things- like the flakes of snow at the bus stop, the cold metal of the gun in Seoul chapter... etc... It all feels like a movie in my mind, because you do such a good job of showing and only telling once in a while. I also love anytime when you rehash things/lines from the show, and echo similar situations or emotions from it. But the best thing about it is, even though the settings for each chapter vary greatly across time and space, it feels as if this is still a cohesive whole as each story features two broken characters, in their own ways, who are slowly finding each other but never completely do achieve a full recognition. with each chapter it seems like a new part of jack and kate's relationship is revealed or achieved, takes that next step in their bond, even though each next chapter kind of resets it when the previous one ends. It feels like a progression- there's still buildup and traditional remnants in these stories, as some scenes are more tender, some are more dark, some are passionate and others more subdued/serene, like a relationship. It reminds me, kind of, of Inception, as each chapter is like a new layer of a dream in which the setting is different, and the characters have some sort of semblance of each other but are also thrown in there, as if by fate (which is what I think you're going for). There's some force throughout that pulls these characters together, to themselves and their capabilities, and to their fates- as the chapters roll on, they slowly but surely are approaching a breaking point or some higher recognition each time, even subtly (like, when Jack called her Kate even though she never introduced herself in chapter 11). It's so fun following along and watching it progress yet also take some steps back every time as well.

I apologize for the long rant, but needed to get it out of my system, and wanted to let you know that I hope someday you return to this story or at least that you just know i still come back to it sometimes!

This fic is such an amazing idea! I'm already in love with it - I just read all of the chapters so far and it's so, so good. Even though the situations and places are totally different, it's still the same Jack and Kate, and you write them so well. I love how they still have that connection, and that it still runs deep.

I'd love to see some earlier era ones, too! Really looking forward to your next update - I was way happy to read that this was going to be a long ongoing fic! )

Wow, that was a pretty dark chapter, lol. I really enjoyed it though. I've always wanted to read a fic where Jack and Kate were siblings and it worked really well with Christian as their father and Diane as their mother. It was interesting to see how they grew up together, though Kate still turned out the same. The ending was pretty depressing, but this was a great chapter! Please update soon, I love this fic. :)

wow, what a great take on the episode 'What Kate Did'. One of my favorite episodes, and with this, you've made it even better.

Ohh, very interesting chapter. You gave us a glimspe of angry Jack this time, and let me tell you, he was scary! ;) You have given such great insights as to what he was thinking during this scene, and why he was so upset. But I can somewhat understand, with Kate not giving anything away about herself.

And so we get to see running Kate again. She was perfectly in character with the Kate at the beginning of the series this time. Good job, I can't wait to see what their circumstances will be next time. :D
