I've been speed reading through this fic since last night. This chapter though. Wooow. That whole argument was emotional and the ending was super powerful. Kudos.

Inoichi, that wasn't a very nice thing to do to Naruto...

Alright, this is the most out of character thing for Naruto to say. Alright, first question: did Naruto actually "break"? Because, if anyone is stubborn, it's him. I really think that he would be the hardest. Also, he's been through so so so so so so much and really the only time that he was every "depressed" and sad was when he found out that everyone was going to kill Sasuke, and that he oficially a missing-nin. Nothing that had to do with himself really broke him.

I feel like Naruto's characterization is the weakest link of this fic. I really like how you didn't make him that dumb, because I've always thought that he had most brilliant moments of mid-battle strategy and smarts, but sometimes he can be so incredibly idiotic. Although you do that extremely well sometimes, other times you make him completely stupid and forget everything about the "pretending to be stupid" conversation that you wrote earlier. Also, isn't Naruto supposed be the best at infiltration and traps and the sort in this story? So shouldn't he be the one that's "holding the other people's hands"

I think Naruto not forgiving Sakura and becoming friends with her is a little OOC. I mean, Naruto's literally the master of forgiving people even when they might not deserve it. He was automatically friends with Nagato, and Obito. He defended them, after they hurt so many people. He should easily befriend Sakura.

I like the twist you've given to Naruto's character and Ibiki's instructions to him about his act. Also how it appears you will be dealing with Sakura.

Well, Sakura is even more of a b!tch here than she is in the regular series. I love Ibiki's solution to it though :)

This was epic! I can't wait to read the sequel!

Ibiki's reaction to Naruto's confusion seemed normal when I first read this but the longer I think about it, the more I think he shouldn't think of it as denseness yet. He knows Naruto is smarter than he seems and also knows his education before Iruka was next to nothing. There is a fairly good chance Naruto would know absolutely nothing about the byakugan other than the name. Just had Naruto a manual of bloodlines and perhaps blood samples (if any are necessary) to test said bloodlines and he would be a master of those bloodlines within a month. :P

There is also the fact that Naruto hasn't agreed to removing his mask except around teammates so Ibiki probably shouldn't have reacted so negatively despite it being funny. Oh well, still an interesting idea I'd love to see expanded on.

Okay, unless this is a fake mission or someone betrayed Konoha, something stupid is happening in this mission. The mission involves subduing an a-rank missing nin. This automatically increases the mission rank to an A rank just like with Zabuza. This is a mission level usually only handed to Jonin but yet they sent only 12 genin without a single sensei into an A-rank mission despite them not trusting 3 genin with a C-rank without their sensei? Hopefully future chapters explain this so that I'm not left feeling disappointed by what seems a stupid mistake of the hokage and mission office staff.

That was an amazing omake! Even though I knew exactly what the items were for, the delivery made it great. Poor Iruka. xD

I just realized that this story, while awesome, makes me low-key frustrated. Naruto can just say what he wants and do whatever and instead of getting bitchslapped he just gets to walk away and continue. Then the thing in this chapter, "Something is horribly wrong with the secret top services? Well I hope a child can trust me enough one day and open up to tell me what he saw..." Really? If he was my subordinate, he'd be mindfucked to hell so I know what else he was to soft to spill then killed so there's no chance he can turn against me if I let him loose, demote him, or straight up let him find himself in a TI room.

Great story. I just need to be in a different and more friendly mind set for it. Really creative thing you have going on here and I love the realistic psychology going on.

I think I'm in love with the Danzo you write.

The whole story was great, from beginning to end it was an interesting and exciting read.
For the sequel, I can say the first two chapters were good after them you rushed the whole thing and after skimming through the rest of the story I broke up while I thought it was still a good story. Why I did that is simple, after the first two chapters, even if I understand why you did it, you simply rushed the whole, forgiving what Minato did and the reason was to weak as Naruto already said that Minato had a different choice, or could have gone about it differently. I understand that you wanted to end the story because with your leave you wouldn't have time for it, but the reason was to weak and made Naruto of the first part a hypocrite.
For the first part, from chapter 20 and above made me think about the saying, "The road to hell is paved with good intentions". That was my favourite about the whole story, as it showed how much thought you put into the story.

I love the idea of the advanced capabilities of Naruto's Henge. It isn't something I've ever seen or thought of before and it seems pretty powerful, but is still balanced. I still have a few questions, like why does no one ask about Kiroi after he saved the Hokage? I thoroughly enjoy the thought of Naruto making friends through a false persona like this, I'm just curious as how Kiroi explains why he is nearly impossible to find when any of his friends want to talk to him. I also like how this story explores Naruto's reactions to information being kept from him in a more realistic (to me) way and how it affects his relationships. The subtlety of Danzo's manipulations are also well written. It isn't enough to make you want to stop reading, but enough to make it fit the character and add real conflict.
