This was an incredibly well written story! I adore how you wrote both Erik and Christine, both having faults that were strongly visible in this story. Erik especially was a thought through character, seemingly a perfect mix of Leroux and ALW that I've yet to seen. Kept me on the edge of my seat, practically made me cry too! If you were ever to write a sequel to these paticular versions of Erik and Christine I would read it in a heartbeat!

Your stories always keep me up too late at night(!), and this story was no exception! I was totally taken by surprise when Erik claimed that the kiss was all pretend! I was like, "WHAT?"

But yes, once again, loved the style, characters, and just about everything.

Waaah! This fic is a beautifully documented struggle between essentially Christine's heart and better judgment/practicality. I always thought Leroux wrote Christine and Erik to have amazing chemistry, but the primary setback was Christine's self-imposed denials. This story is a very realistic conflict and beautifully worked out resolution, a pleasure to read!

I was holding my breath the entire time! As always, the story really got into my head until I was so infuriated with the two of them I'm sure there was steam coming out of my ears. It's not a bad thing, though, it means you did your work well again! There were times when I wanted to throttle Christine for running from what she felt and times when I was cheering her on. As for Erik, he actually had me shouting obscenities at the monitor for a minute, and that's no joke. But yay for another happy ending!

Hi! I really like your story! I found it a little confusing at first to understand all of Christine's emotions and actions, but I eventually caught on! You use many big words! haha! And many times while I was reading I pictured them in an actual house rather then his lair! Anyway I really enjoyed the plot and thought it was very smartly written! Good Job! And continue writting!

This was the first of your stories that I've read, and the second Phanfic I've read. I'm glad it was! The game twist in chapter three shocked me. Poor Erik, he was so convinced that no one could love him! I loved Christine's reaction to his marriage proposal, though.
