The duels were gripping, the character interactions were carried out rather well and there's a tantalizing subplot your epilogue seems to hint at. Thank you very, very much for this! Ah, just noticed two things about the last duel that would have really messed with Yusei's chances: 1) In chapter 9, you activated Nitro Warrior's effect to gain ATK during his second attack. This effect should've activated during the first one since you can't control when it activates. 2) In chapter 10, Synchro Strike shouldn't have worked because Stardust has left the field and was Special Summoned, so it doesn't really count as being Synchro Summoned, which would mean that Synchro Strike won't work. Don't pay them any mind though. They're just technical nuisances. As for how I found this story, I owe it to TheRoseShadow21 for mentionting your username in her 'Those Kind of moments' drabble collection. |
| GhostLord chapter 12 . 10/22/2011 I just finished reading the last four chapters and I have to say you sure know how to write duels. The story was awesome as well. I was surprised by the cliffhanger ending. All in all I enjoyed this story as a whole. Well done. |
