I'm new in the LOST fandom and I'm a hard-core JATER all da wayyyy! I know I'm late in the LOST fandom. coz when LOST first aired, I was still in elementary school and didnt know anything, and moreover English isnt my mother tongue. Now I'm 19 and I was curious about LOST, and finally decided to try this old series. I'm instantly HOOKED.
And from that first meeting of Jack and Kate, I know they are meant to be! XDD

From the moment I saw David, I thought he looked a bit like Kate, and when I looked closer, he had FRECKLES! Hence I was a bit surprised to see that they made Juliet David's mother. But I still didnt buy it. David didnt look like the son of Jack and Juliet, he looked more Jack & Kate. Other people may say I'm in denial, but I googled and found a link to some1's tumblr, and this some1 was SMART! What he does is answering LOST fans' questions. ANY questions about the mythology and sth that the fans didnt understand in LOST. And I'm telling you lots of fans agree that his answers make sense. Some1 asked about David, and he has some theories, one of those theories is that David is Jack and Kate's real-life son! You have no idea how happy I am to hear that! HAHA.
and I think in Jack's flash-sideways, Juliet was made David's mother because Jack felt guilty bout Juliet being killed in the H-bomb incident? That is what I think.

I really love your fics! My Fav is "Nobody Does It Alone"! If I had many awards I would give them all to "Nobody Does It Alone"! I read it over and over and over again! I am a fanfic collector! Here I am reviewing another amazing creation by Erica... after nearly one year since I read it. SHAME on me! I loved this story and I recall watching Season 6 and thinking at that time David appeared to be an adorable amalgamation of Kate and Jack. I didn't think the fact that David had freckles was a mere coincidence. The freckles had to mean something, right? When the series ended I truly felt that David represented the child Jack deep down wanted to have with Kate (despite his protestations when he was alive that he would be a lousy dad - Oh, what are we going to do with our stubborn and insecure Jack?)

I love this interpretation that David was in fact their child and that they both had an opportunity to love and raise him. Reading your fanfic underscores all the reasons why I loved LOST - the characters were so vivid and full of depth. They still manage to resonate in our minds and hearts even though their stories ended in May 2010.

Kate calling him out at the end on the whole Juliet thing was too perfect. I certainly found the whole Jack/Juliet plot one of the strangest things on Lost and was half expecting Sawyer to strangle the poor guy or something.

I just have to say again, what a wounderful idea this was for a fic. You did such an excellent job and I am glad Jack and Kate finally got to be together in the end.
