This is a delightful AU and full of Luna goodies! I particularly liked Luna not seeing the connection between her reference to Marietta's acne and Marietta not talking to her! I also love epistolary stories. It's great to see writers being able to frame letters by characters, and you do this very well. The bookends of the soft toys is lovely. Your Luna is a delight, as always, and you treat Snape with a deft touch. Lovely one-shot.

This story was listed in my brothers list of Favorite stories. Once more his recommendations have paid off. This was a wonderfully sweet story. I loved the more sensitive approach to Snape. This was my first Snape/Luna story, in fact until I read this fic I wouldn't have even thought to pair the two of them together. Now I'm going to have to search out a few more. Thanks for the story :D

Very cute Luna/Snape. I often find it difficult to believe in Snape with a school aged or slightly older girl, so this developing relationship works so much better. You seem to hint that their mutual losses allow them to slowly open up to each other. No matter how nasty canon Snape is, I also see a gentler side to him that is perfectly OK with not snarling and snapping but is happy to observe for a while.
