i found this poem to be very amusing! you compared the evils of poetry and gilroy, and said your opinion about both of them. i like how you alternated lines between burn notice and poetry. i loved your burn notice references, and each line made me think of that particular moment you were quoting (and i thought of the whole scene for each moment you mentioned! i am a huge burn notice fan!)

If I were the teacher, you would have an 'A'! You definitely showed what you think of poetry. Good use of BN quotes, "freelance psychopath", for example, but the best was your original line, "Killed by the prisoner he freed." Beautiful irony. Nice.

Oh, I so agree with you about poetry. At least, Gilroy is...well, was easy on the eyes. Not so with poetry.
