Oh boy, this story. It's been years so I doubt I'll see an update soon, but the entire premise bothers me and it's taken a while to figure out why but I think I have.

It seems like werewolves and other non-humans are super strong crazy powerful and op. But this makes so little sense it's almost physically painful how frustrating that idea is.

so you're telling me, that all these crazy powerful, super strong "a wizard has absolutely no chance against us even with their magic" werewolves, are all just off on there own minding their own business while 1. the ministry outlaws them and makes their lives miserable (just look at Remus and how the books say he was basically homeless the entire time after graduating Hogwarts) 2. There's apparently enough of them to form a large society and none of them think to do anything with the power they have and 3. Grayback brings a horde of werewolves with him and in the books they are no stronger in human form thsn any other wizard and in some cases weaker, especially after a transformation.

Basically, the problem I have that makes this story increasingly difficult to get through (mainly because I keep getting thrown out of the story when I try to immerse myself into it by things that keep making absolutely no sense at all. I call it my suspension-of-belief-o-meter and this story has broken it) is that you look at it and go 'wow, new school, cool werewolf society, yay!' and then ask any reasonable question like 'why are they living as outcasts of society?

are they too weak to stop wizards from hunting and killing them? no they're actually so much stronger a wizard has no chance against them?

hmm, well maybe they accepted the laws and now they're too poor to do anything about them? no they're pretty well off and require large deposits of wealth just to talk with pack alphas.

It's like I've just read 90k about how Harry's going to a crazy school but is definitely going to be killed. I honestly half expect him to show up and just spontaneously combust on the spot as soon as he walks into the new school. And every time it looks like he's getting somewhere there's a problem that makes him look weaker than before! oh boy he reached his mindscape, whoops he can't get out and isn't allowed to practice anymore. Oh he got accepted into the pack, whoops don't interact with people because they might challenge you or something. Oh he can finally interact with people, whoops you're too weak to really hang out with them since your a human, also the new school is full of people even stronger than them.

How do I put this...

If you're going to introduce a new aspect of an already established world like the HP universe, make it believable, raise characters power levels in a reasonable way, don't just say they're strong because they are and then not have a reason they never use they're strength.

It completely removes the immersion if I keep reading and every other line shake my head and go 'wait, what... but why though?'

It's nice to see that Harry is learning about Rites and is taking training from Remus seriously. No one ever talked to Harry about these things. He didn't grow up around wizards and never learned anything over the summers since he was always with the Dursleys. Great fic so far.

Really liked this story. Hasnt been updated in 6 years. A shame its been abandoned before harry even gets to the new school. Would have liked to see where it could have gone.

it's a pretty good story. one issue in this chapter... a female pig is a sow. The only female boar I could think of would be transsexual and then my brain shut down trying to figure out if it was m2f or f2m. female's tusks are small for wildor nonexistent for domestic.

It's been a while since you last updated this but I hope you are simply busy and will update it soon as I would love to read what happens next (also I hope if Hermione figures out that Kieran and Harry are the same that the twins get her to not say anything to Dumbledore until school starts at least as then Harry will not be in a place Dumbledore can get to...)
