It warms my heart to see such a nicely written fic about the relationship between Ace, Luffy and Sabo. ) And the ending part really broke my heart just after reading the beginning warmed my heart. It's true, anybody would be traumatised, losing both brothers in such a tragic way.

One nitpick - even at his very lowest, Luffy did not want to die. He ridiculed his dreams. He put himself down. But he did not surrender his will to live.

Ace and, questionably, Sabo, are dead. Yet Luffy is not without family - the very thought of his nakama brought Luffy out of his grief.

Still, the brothers are a YES.

OMG. I had just gone to reread the chapters where Ace died so when I was reading this, I got sooooo emotional. I just cried and cried. Poor Luffy is the only one left. T_T

I feel you captured Luffy's feelings very well. It was well-written and you can really feel the emotion in this. Thank you for posting it. :]

Amazing...Absolutely breathtaking...I never dreamed I would ever see a truly broken Luffy. He had gone through so much but he always bounced back. But after reading the latest chapter and reading this story, I've finally seen a Luffy who is utterly hopeless. Well done.
