Well. Two of my favourite fandoms, one of my favourite Doctors, add some excellent writing and dark humour into the mix you've got a story Neil Gaiman himself would be proud of. Good job.
Dolphin64575 chapter 1 . 5/26/2013
V cute, totally believable and in-char. Visiting four-and-a-half times made me smile, as well as Death telling the Doctor that he reminds her of one of her brothers.
mark3232 chapter 1 . 7/14/2012
Death from The Sandman really appeared in the Doctor Who book Happy Endings by Paul Cornell.
Star Dust of Ancient Novae chapter 1 . 4/10/2011
cool
Nyah chapter 1 . 1/25/2011
Lovely little story. The Endless and the Doctor should absolutely share the same story space. And often.

I like seeing this post-war funk of the Doctor's and Death helping him out. Thanks for writing.
TEi Has Pants chapter 1 . 7/23/2010
I really enjoyed reading this. It was the right balance between gloominess and cheeriness - a nice contrast drawn by the differing personalities of Nine and Death. The details were rich and lush, and I got a very strong sense of location - I could see their surroundings in my head. You also did a great job of keeping them in-character.

The only thing I would recommend is using italics to emphasize stress instead of caps, because whenever one sees caps, they're led to think the speaker is shouting. Otherwise, not a bad job at all!

Because yes, Doctor, it IS worth it.

Brilliant. I love it. Thank you for an amazing little one-shot here.
Jasper winked chapter 1 . 6/27/2010
This is certainly a unique idea and I feel like you developed it very well. The last two lines reveal who the woman is, something- someone-I certainly didn't guess. :) It also ties into his regeneration, which is an interesting idea. Lovely one-shot.
