This was great! And what are the chances that I would stumble across it the very day I watched this episode? Seriously, I just watched the last three episodes of series 5 with my kids about three hours ago! And I looked at your profile after reviewing your Charlie story and saw Doctor Who listed so I scanned down your story list and found this one!

I especially loved the visit from The Doctor, and Captain Jack was a nice touch too. Rory was wise to "disappear" when Torchwood acquired the box - Torchwood might have dissected him trying to solve the mystery of the soldier who didn't die! When you first mentioned Torchwood, I wondered if he might tell them about the Doctor, but I assume this version of Torchwood never met the Doctor so they wouldn't even know who he was. Working at Torchwood and the museum must have been a great relief to Rory's boredom after all those centuries!

Great story, nice insight into what all he had to do to survive and protect her.

I got curious after the LJ post and I'm very glad I did. This is brilliant! I like the way Amy is never out of his thoughts and while reading this I got the sense of all that time passing but while everything else changes, Rory's love for Amy never does. : )

I love this story and how you wrote Rory so well! It is wonderful and amazing and it was sad but also full of hope and I truly love this story and enjoyed reading it.

Holy Hannah, that is one of the most...wow, I'm not sure how to describe it. It's sad, but endearing. Full of hope and yet I can't help but get teary from thinking about poor Rory. Thank you for writing about the Man Who Waited. You managed it so very well.

This is amazing. I've always wondered how Rory spend those thousand-plus years, and this is brilliant. The Doctor's cameo was unexpected, yet fitting and logical. The Pandorica's travels were just right. Your prose is just lovely, keeping in Rory's POV and even his voice. Thank you for writing this!

good not bad, had hope for a little more of rory talking but still a good show :)
