‘Stranded’ fics are my fave, and I LOVE this one, ending included.

I like so many things about this fic (I read it once a couple of years ago and tripped over it again in the last couple of days) not the least of which is the style. I'm a HUGE fan of the sparser styles that skip from one pertinent scene to the other. But I do find that, generally speaking, writers have a way of being *too* sparse about it. You labor under no such problem. Like a poet, all the words mattered and there weren't any extras.

In the end, I thought they'd settled on a perfect nickname and I like the ending just as it is - just the two of them, looking forward. Sort of the way it's always been.

Makes for nice reading but a little excitment would have been fun. Maybe Sam spraining her ankles... or twisting her elbow from wrestling with Jack. HAHA

I really loved this story! It was cute with the relationship I liked the idea of the leaves in the sleeping bags for a mattress. The ending was a little quick though.

Great story, liked the show of tension when they got bored and how they worked through it. Nice ending. Wondered if they ever went back to actually test their boat and find out what the rest of the planet was like. Thanks for sharing.
