Aahhh, I know this story is a little old but it was just fantastic. Truly one of the best fanfics I’ve ever read, and with an unlikely pair I can get around. It’s really a shame you don’t have more Dragon Quest fanfics and I would love nothing more than to find out what happened next, but oh well. Anyways, please continue to write more awesome fanfics and stories!

Oh wowie! This is very well-written and quite readable. This is the sort of story you could easily read in one sitting. Good dialogue too. Marcello is certainly an interesting character and you do a good job showing that!
