Sweet! You decided to continue, yay! Moving on, it's understandable to make Sasuke so powerful to combat the rabid Naruto, it even lets Naruto have a friend with him after everyone else dies of age or otherwise, though I'm unsure if age affects shinigami or hollows, which it probably does with canon showing scenes of Soifon as a little girl looking up to Yoruichi. Now though, what will happen next with Naruto's almost fanatical hatred of the shinigami and the information of Aizen's planned betrayal. Also, poor Hanatarou taking the beating meant for Soifon, hopefully he won't take too much of one in the next chapter. Anyway, a really good update and hope to see another relatively soon.

I think pein as a defense mechanism is something new and sould be welcomed, grear work.

What the Hell man! It was just getting good! Don't give up on it! The stories pretty good and the idea of the defense mechanism of the seal was great. C'mon man, don't give it up unless you have to(such as concentrating on school or work). Here's hoping that you decide to continue it.
