Woahhhhh nice

That was really quite amazing. It reminds me of nuns who say they are married in soul to God, except more. And for me, Aslan seems to be warning Lucy away from those other loves because either they'd end in heartbreak, were not meant to be, or would leave her and her lover/potential husband unhappy...and then it cumulated in Lucy falling for what seems to be the most unattainable man of all. All in all a very thought provoking, interesting, well written story.
I particularly enjoyed the formatting: the question and reply sequence made it feel almost biblical, in a way since it was slightly lyrical. I loved it.

I read this a few months ago, and I've just reread it. You completely captured Lucy's essence, in my opinion, and I felt every one of her emotions. I will admit I shed a few quiet tears, and I had a knot in my chest as I read. Beautiful work!

I truly loved this piece! It broke my heart a little. I wished for more, but at the same time I loved the brevity of each section. Really lovely. Beautiful job! I adored the ending.

Superb story, I enjoyed it tremendously! You caught the characterizations very skillfully, with lots of attention to canon detail which made it even better for a Narnia fan like me ;-). I didn't read the romance pairing at the top so I was really surprised (pleasantly) at the end! It is a terrific explanation of why Lucy never married, and totally makes sense that her one great love is Aslan, although it somehow takes a moment to process it as a *romantic* love. You did it so so well.

I loved your Caspian episode, there is some beautiful subtext there that fits seamlessly with canon. I would be so happy to read an extended Caspian/Lucy story from you (what? it's my favorite pairing)... you just have a wonderful way with these characters and your turn of words is truly delicious. Even when it's not overt, you realllllly make them have chemistry! You should totally do it! ;-)

mmm. a tender story about guarding ones heart, and falling love with the only person that matters. It would've been nice if Aslan had directed Lucy to a man in this story, and then she would see the end result. still a good story.

What a wonderful short little story. I wish you had expanded each section a little bit more, but I enjoyed the briefness of it as well. It is nice to finally see a story on Fanfiction where Aslan and Lucy have a relationship. Alot of people think about it I'm sure, but nobody has written about it. Thank you for supplying, perhaps another one? Keep up the great work!
