Reviews for Molly Hooper: The Aftermath
Guest chapter 1 . 7/21
I like Molly you portrait a lot, just think Sherlock actually cares for people especially for Molly much more than he shows in this story. Nonetheless I enjoy this story and thank you very much!

I'm QUITE pedantic about my Sherlock/Molly fanfic, and unlike most fics, with this one, I began to relax the farther along I got. Molly was there, Sherlock was there. It was plausible, it became a story to me; and not just some writer's attempts at a story, something that faded into a movie-reel in my head for a short time. I will remember this one. It's worth the time, and it's fantastic.

Oh my, I really like the way you wrote Molly's distress after finding out Jim was Moriarty. The exchange between Sherlock & Molly felt very true to their characters.

I love reading what happens to Molly after the whole gay Jim "from IT" Moriarty scandal. I don't think she just brushed it off and walked away, as simple as that is, it probably left her traumatized.

I also love how she talked back at Sherlock before he started going off about criticizing her appearance again. I agree with some of your reviews that other people tend to write her being clumsy, nervous, and a bubbling fool around Sherlock but she's a professional and she takes her work seriously. Which is probably why Sherlock trusts her the most.

Anyway, great story. Fantastic writing. Thanks for sharing. :)

THANK YOU for this! As a thirty-coughhackcough year old myself, it frustrates me when people write Molly Hooper as a simpering, stuttering teenager ALL THE TIME. She's a professional, and actually it's impressive that she's a pathologist at so young an age. But all most writers mention is that she acts awkwardly around Sherlock Holmes.

Well, I thought the characterization was marvelous in this. Furthermore, I would absolutely read Dr. Hooper's new blog.
