hahahahaha. that's the Katara we know. just needs a little more fiery emotion and she's there.
i'm kinda surprised that the audience didn't have a bigger reaction than just applauding. did they understand Zuko's intentions? haha

Well, it worked - and Zuko's pride getting him into an embarrassing and painful situation that could have been avoided simply by asking for help is pretty much always funny.

I enjoyed this one. Zuko trying to be crafty is amusing to watch. I like that Katara is getting used to her Waterbending a bit more, and finally I just love the fact you included Iroh. He is all things wonderful.

*giggle snort* Poor Zuko. And yay for Katara! She's slowly finding herself yeah?

Off to the next which I'm grateful for! So loving this series~

Ah, Zuko. That had to be unpleasant. Worth it, though, if Katara is back to using her bending to prove a point.

I love Iroh. Seriously. And I loved Katara's progression in this. And when the realisation hits him about how much help Katara is going to need, his reaction is so accurate; you've done really well keeping him in character. But the last part was by far the best- Zuko totally deserved that, and it was nice to see a glimpse of the Katara that we all know and love. And that can beat Zuko anyday.

You described the waterbending perfectly, too often, people get caught up in specifics 'left hand moves like this, right hand does that', but you've left a lot of it to the imagination and given it a gentle nudge with some well placed sentences and it is really effective.
