![]() ![]() This is a vivid story. It made me sad that Dean tries so hard to give Sammy a "normal" life, and Sam kicks him in the head every time; not meaning to, it's just his youth talking. :'( Maybe, he will see how hurt Dean is by his words, and thank him for trying. |
![]() ![]() For this and many other things sammy hates the navidad |
![]() ![]() ![]() Aw, it was so sad. It made me tear up! You really infuse the emotions into the story. Really great writing! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I agree with others that I soooo wanted more to this story and to have Sam see that Dean hurt too, BUT I love that you left it where you did. I think the way you wrote it was probably a lot closer to the harsh reality of the situation- that there were a lot of moments like this, and I love that you left me wanting a better resolution that just wasn't going happen. Great story! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love it, but I also want more...please just for a second let Sammy realise what he did to his brother...it is already awesome, but I want more! |
![]() ![]() ![]() once again another great story from you...poor Dean...his brother and Dad only think about themselves...great angsty story! |
![]() ![]() ![]() While I really enjoyed this story, seeing how hard that Dean tries to provide for his brother...I think there is more there. You should follow up. I think somehow, young Sam needs to have his eyes opened to how much his big brother sacrificed for him growing up and appreciate all of the things that Dean did provide him with. I am not sure if it should be a continuation in the same time frame, or if it is something he should realize in the future, but I definitely see great potential for more chapters to this wonderful Christmas story. I encourage you to keep on going! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Awwww, F# k! *Sobs heartbrokenly* Dammit - he asks if Dean has any feelings and just...walks all over them! I know Sammy didn't mean too, but...can't Dean be enough? *Clings to you* Mandy |
![]() ![]() ![]() You do realize Sam was 8 when he found out that monsters are real, right? *raises eyebrows* Wow, Sam. There a lot of things that Dean deserves for Christmas too and a ungrateful, whining, selfish brother is not one of them. Yeah, he couldn't provide you with a proper Christmas, but at least give him the credit for being there. He's 16 for God's sake, what do you expect him to do, rob a house so you'll get your hallmark Christmas? If Christmas is about family, why the hell are you tearing down the one family that's always there for you? It's things like this that make me think that Dean has put a gun to his head more then once when he was growing up. But he obviously never pulled the trigger. The fantastic part of it is that Dean probably feels like a coward for not offing himself. And that does wonders for his self worth. Oh, you're loving this aren't you. You twisted person you. |
![]() ![]() ![]() awwwwwwwww poor dean :( and on a weird and random note there seems to be a lot of christmas fic around lately hehe just a bit odd loved the story though .. love reading stuff about dean struggling with self worth |
![]() ![]() ![]() That was a great fic but man did it break my heart. Poor Dean. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Kinda depressing but really well done none the less. I enjoyed it. :) - Spark |
![]() ![]() Wow I know their situation was crap but Sam was being a jerk. He doesn't think Dean deserves that too? Talk about being selfish. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Sam and John owe Dean for several lifetimes, both managing to somehow make him feel like a failure yet neither of them fullfilled their own obligations of being a good father or brother. Your stories always make my heart break for Dean. Not that it makes me stop reading your excellent fics. |
