Thank you for giving Sev a happy ending! Not that I haven't read DH fix-its before, but this is especially great! I love how Harry confronts Sev at Grimmauld!

I have always wondered how Severus would have reacted if Ron never made it back to save Harry from drowning in time. Must be hard for Severus to contemplate whether to save Harry and make his loyalty known (and risk being slain by Voldemort as he can easily read Harry's mind), or hope miracle happens and Harry gets saved. Must be somewhat nerve-wracking for Severus the moments before Ron came!

To think that the final year of his life was the most horrible time of his life is definitely an understatement. Poor Severus, no wonder he welcomed death with open arms and did not bother trying to stay alive.

:( I have always loathed Albus for being the Voldemort of the Light. With exception of no direct murders in his hands, he is as manipulative as voldy when he wants to win his game. Harry and Severus are, sadly, used as pawns in order for Albus to so-called restore, the greater good.

It is somewhat strange that Severus did not notice the trio's presence in the room downstairs when he arrived. Hid arrival should have alerted the trio as it would have triggered the dead Albus-charm. Did he not catch their magical presence because Harry warded the living room downstairs or did he directly go upstairs without investigating downstairs first?

Just pointing the loophole. I have read this before but I seem to have forgotten the ending after having read hundreds of Harry/Sev stories, lol.. Going to reread it again! :D
