As SPAMS go, this is probably one of the most honest ones. Too many read like fantasy stories for authors who are infatuated with Jerry Trainer. Here, Sam is facing the collapse of everything that has held her world together. But becoming a stripper...I'd expect her to run like heck the other way from anything that would remotely resembel behavior that her mom would indulge in. As for Spencer, its a shock, and probably the first time he's noticed her that way. The problem is, eventually, all the glitz, and stripper mystique will be gone and he'll be the guy who was practically her brother, and Sam will still be Sam. Somehow awkard doesn't seem like enough of a description.
