ShadowThief126 chapter 15 . 1/2/2018 Great story! The ending was cute |
Sweeterafterdifficulties chapter 3 . 12/13/2017 I enjoy your writing, and the story itself is pretty intriguing so far, but the part where they were giving themselves sign names really irked me. Culturally, when hearing people give themselves a sign name, it's really disrespectful, and a deaf (or in this case mute) person will only give a name to someone significant to them-like, you might know a deaf person for years and still not have a sign name. This can be explained in your story because Harry wasn't raised in the Deaf community might not know the significance, but for someone like Abby in your story, who has clearly studied asl, this would have been one of the first cultural lessons she learned. |
