Excellent story. Everyone seems to forget all the officers that died protecting the city. Glad to finally see what a tribute to all those who fell in the line of duty.

Marv Branagh, everyone's favourite sacrificial lamb, nice to see some authors are trying to get into his head, as I'm sure he has some interesting stories to tell.

And I liked your take on the zombie transformation. It's alittle frightening to imagine a sentient person trapped inside the zombie body, aware of what was happening, screaming for release, scary, very scary.
