Gosh, unnerving and very fine - the shifts between Alex on the barge, the nightmare of Evan murdering Alex and Molly, and the ending of Alex with Genem are superbly done. You capture the unreal nature of so much of the series.

Oh wow! This was really beautiful writing, and I'd love to think that the last part is real, and is her stumbling forward into his arms after coming out of her spooky reverie! The part with Evan and Molly is particularly chilling, I got goosebumps!

This was odd...but in a good way. I like the Gene/Alex sequence at the end, but is it okay if I think it's real rather than part of her hallucination? lol
