Interesting. I like the light but dark way the rehab center is described here... And I'm also glad you added another juvie. Plus, with the way the trailer played it, the young Dante who was chained around his wrists was probably around 13-15 yrs old (while the dude who goes, "My name is Dante" was probably 16-19). So adding the juvie makes it mysterious and intrigue, making me wonder if he actually escape on his own.

Also, I agree with you on his new looks. He's just a younger Dante, one that came before the highly sold DMC franchise. I'd say I'd try this one out! After all, I still think he's something dashing BUT definitely not in a vampiric way! Not at all.

I'm actually pretty excited about the game, and this little story got me even more excited. I'm always open to new things and I have confidence that I'll enjoy dmc especially it suppose to be an origin story. I wish people weren't freaking out so much about it when they only seen one tiny trailer, I hope the game will shut them up.

Either way this was an AWESOME read, and definitely seems like a interesting and possible situation in the game. Also yeah I'm sure Dante was a teenage punk so it alright I think the characterization is good.

I've been sickened—to say the least—by the hate hurled at the DmC teaser trailer and, specifically, at Dante's new design. I, for one, am quite excited about it. I like the darker, grittier, edgier tone they're going with this time around, and I think you've managed to capture that perfectly in this piece.

My only complaint is that I don't know enough about the other kid. Is he another halfbreed? Are the people in this facility running research on half-human, half-demon hybrids? That's the impression I got. I'm curious as to what you intended, because I don't think you made it clear enough in the work itself.

Anyway, I think you should continue this. You could either make it an original story, or you could wait until the game comes out and incorporate it into the piece. Either way, it'd be awesome.

Hell yeah! That was AWESOME! I just saw the trailer a coupla days back, lost my sleep over WHEN could I buy the game already (or at least see another trailer) – btw, new Dante ROCKS! - and now this treat! I think you did great with the character - as badass as ever ;)

But you're evil, EVIL I TELL YOU - how could leave it with such a cliffhanger? I gotta know what happens next. I mean, who WAS that other kid? And why did he help Dante bust out? He must have some kind of agenda, but WHAT? And what’s this about his body “crapping out”, what’s happening to him?

Is there any way you could be cajoled into continuing the story? I appreciate you’ve most likely got your hands full at the Uni, but imho, this story is WAY too good and promising to leave it as one-shot. Pretty please-please-please? *leaving you delicious author cookies full of inspirational goodness* (Yes, I’m desperate enough to resort to pathetic incessant whining and bribery)))).

I have no idea what the premise of this is but I loved it. I can't judge on his character 'cause I never played the game myself. Had a demo, but you know.
