Awesome story. Your writing is great and I like that you've "advanced" the morphing technology to longer than four hours. Love that you created a sub-plot problem in Jake's scars disappearing. I guess he could rub some red makeup in those spots and say he went through a tattoo removal procedure. The ear is a problem however. I always wondered about the genetic rules. If you had a genetic predisposition for something, like being born with/out certain digits or freckles, or something, does that mean they might have freckles one day but morph later without them? What about birth defects? If you possess a genetic predisposition for a birth defect and you are born with it, which later gets repaired/treated, does morphing undo the repair/treatment? Can't wait to keep reading, especially with the ear. Does Jake have to self-mutilate his ear before every work week? Pretend to get plastic surgery to "fix" his ear?

Will they be able to morph, I wonder?
