Oh I loved it! It was beautiful and I really really loved it :) sweet and kind and... gorgeous! Haha Gabriel was awesome in that. And Sam... and Dean and Bobby and Cas... geez, basically, it was awesome. They can all have a hug, and you get an extra one for writing it ;) plus cookie payment! Oh my God, this is such an amazing story. And even though you keep saying "it's been done before" believe me, not in this sort of context. I actually just added this to the archive of stories in my Human!Castiel community AND on my favorites list because it is honestly that original and Castiel is definitely THAT human in this story. I think people forget sometimes just how vulnerable Cas was becoming after his brief fall on the show. I'm glad you're taking a more literal and darker approach to it since it's the part I was most looking forward to. I kind of wish the writers had kept on that track but it's obvious they're going in a completely opposite direction, which makes me sad, because Cas is easily my favorite character and the only reason I continued watching Supernatural again. Still, enough of show angst, and back to story angst! Good job! I really hope you write more of this awesome story soon. Sam is absolutely fantastic in his care for Castiel. I can definitely picture these two finding strength in each other, especially since Sam's been there/done that. Thank you for writing and making me smile with this glorious fic. Update! Update!
