YEAH! Go Claudia~ I love that Brotherhood made this story canon haha
selenia-sopheria chapter 2 . 7/26/2014
That was excellent! You depict Ezio and Claudia and their relationship so well.
S i l e n t .M u s i c. B o x chapter 2 . 8/17/2012
I really enjoyed reading this. It was a nice insight into their sparsely explored relationship and they seemed completely believable and in character. Nice work.
BWJ chapter 1 . 12/15/2011
Interesting premise, though not really fitting with AC canon. You should pick this up again now that AC:B and AC:R are out.
Skylan chapter 2 . 1/9/2011
You're an amazing author. I love this story so much. I wish you would have continued it with one-shots.
Skylan chapter 1 . 1/9/2011
I love this! It really goes in depth about Claudia's feelings. I mean their relationship developed a lot more in the third game, but you don't really see much of them. But she does play more of a role in the third game and I think it's refreshing.
SRW chapter 2 . 11/19/2010
Hey why did you take down chp 3? I was reading it.
porkybun chapter 2 . 11/16/2010
Nice story~

I feel the same too... like all the Auditore are just killed or ignored. You don't really get to see any sort of bond between them so much. I'm just glad Claudia is in the next game with a role :)
BlahBlah chapter 2 . 11/7/2010
I love this story!

You'll continue right? I sure hope so! :3
FOreal chapter 2 . 10/30/2010
Good chapter. Hope you write more!
Disciple of the Creed chapter 2 . 10/20/2010
Ah, this is a very good fic! The fight scene was quite epic. as well. It's good seeing Claudia as an assassin, as she was a greatly underused character in the game. A couple of questions tho, does she have a hidden blade or gun? and is she wearing a white assassin cowl? can she do the leap of faith?

keep going, I look forward to reading more!

Oh by the way...

MINOR BROTHERHOOD SPOILER

DONT READ IF YOU DONT WANT TO KNO Claudia is an assassin in the upcoming game.
kerricarri chapter 2 . 10/19/2010
I liked the anecdotes of Claudia at the villa because it was always extremely frustrating to always seeing her at the desk and repeating the exact same line like some jrpg npc. Seemed liked such a waste of character. It also always broke my suspension of disbelief by making it obvious that the villa was not a part of the living breathing town...upgrading the town was my favorite money grabbing scheme in the game, but Claudia remaining exactly the same always broke the illusion that the town really was growing and changing.

Still, you're spot on about her being trained as an assassin (or at least for self defense, but her pride wouldn't have taken that), as an interview I read somewhere implied Claudia does get involved in one of Ezio's Rome missions as an ally. I can really get into this fic because it's a viable transition for her to Brotherhood, though I can't imagine her being in Venice and witnessing those endgame cutscene moments. Claudia's always been in the background, which is why her triumphant and smug horse thieves anecdote was believable since it's logical to assume she doesn't sit at the desk everyday. But Ezio accepting her presence in Venice? When he'd always been adament of keeping his only living, immediate family members alive? (Why is she there anyway? Maybe Mario gave in after years of Claudia wheedling him to let her be more exposed to the assassin life?)

But I'm nitpicking. I love the fic just because it exists and because it's Claudia centric and not cheesy slash between Ezio and Leonardo, Altair and Malik, and all of their many permutations. Which makes the fic instantly unique by dint of its lack of romance-very sensible of Claudia, she's got her priorities in order. I guess ultimately Ezio's complacency with Claudia in Venice can be explained away by his sheer busy life and Borgia preoccupation. And it's easy to see that Ezio neglects his family when he knows they're safe in the villa for all those years. Plus he knows Claudia's tough and can handle herself, and he trusts the Order to keep her safe were she in Venice.

Loved it! Then again, I love Claudia, so this was great. Really like the way you wrote the action scene; swift, direct and breathless, and yet I still knew where everyone was in the middle of it. Anyway, looking forward to more, for sure.

As always my friends, it is a treat to read your work. Especially after wasting my money on the book. I look forward to your next update.
