FINALLY! Ever since the Germany episode, I have been waiting for someone to do a story where Leshawna apologizes to Heather for the cruel and completely unnecessary thing she did to her in TDWT.

Like 100TenMillion and can't think (and many other TD fans I'm sure), I too have lost a lot of respect for Leshawna because of this episode. I could see Leshawna beating the crap out of Heather for the FIRST season, but to do it after Heather actually did something NICE for her, made absolutely no sense and frustrated me to no end.

-Takes deep breath-Sorry I have a tendency to rant sometimes. Moving on...

The way you've portrayed Leshawna, she sounds sort of apologetic, where she's not sorry for what she did, but sorry that she did it at the wrong time. Leshawna also taking Gwen's side in the Heather vs. Gwen blog wars makes sense and would certainly explain why the fragile truce between the two all of sudden disappeared between TDA and TDWT.

You've made a good point about Heather's character in this story. Everyone on the show is so caught up on all the bad things Heather did in the past, that they've become blind to the rare instances that she does something good. So if everyone refuses to acknowledge your random acts of kindness and doesn't believe that there is good in you, then what's going to motivate you in becoming a nicer person?

I liked the ending, especially with Heather's comments about Harold and Leshawna's relationship. I could see her saying that ;D

Stories that treat Heather like a human being are few and far between. I don't even know why, really. But one thing that will always be welcome, is stories that show Heather learning the error of her ways. I, bro, take my hat off to ya for writting this impressive tale of redemption. I feel like, in canon, an apology from LeShawna is seriously overdue. I feel her hate for Heather lost all justification the day she did what she did. And you and I both know what I mean. That was so messed up...

But, that is the thing. This story is a redemption story for LeShawna. She did what she did, and she owed up to her mistake. In this story, she takes responisbility for her error, and makes ammends. In canon, she brags about the damage she instilled on Heather. Pardon me, but the character has lost ALL favor with me. That is why I like your story, because it does what Canon should do, but hasn't...yet. And the thing is, considering Canon's view on Heather...it will never happen.
