Frankly, there's no credible way that Suzaku resists long and even actually wins in those conditions. Suzaku VS Kallen in normal conditions is a draw, you've established that. Yet somehow after giving her Euphie's support and a Geass that makes everything move on slow motion she fails to avoid a sword slash, or actually 3 consecutive slashes? Sorry but that's bullshit.

Also quite unbelievable, but less so, would be to let the Avalon cross the Pacific without shooting it down with a FLEIJA.

Here I am reading your story almost a decade after you first put it to page. I've got to tell you, it was pretty enjoyable. Even the opening ending was well done. Kudos!

It's a shame that you gave up on this story. It was pretty amazing.

Its a shame you've dropped this story, it was a fun read even if you are critical on yourself over it. Some of your references were a bit facepalm worthy but other than that no real detractions wortht of mention. It's also a bloody shame that you made it 16 chapters into revising/rewriting it only to lose Every. Single. Bit. Of progress you had made. I have a feeling had that not happened this would still be going and MUCH further along, possibly even nearing completion.

Welp, I suppose you have a couple other stories for me to read. So off to peruse those while I recover from the tragedy that is the cliffhanger ending of this one. At least Kallen woke up, I'll give you that much toward the ending.

I also want to ask, would the 5 of them have wound up in a poly relationship? Seemed like it was kinda headed that way with C.C. and Kallen at least, I'm a shameless lover of incest so the thought that Nelly and Euphy could get involved brought a smile to my face, heh.

I am sad that you decided to drop it instead of rewriting it, but well... C'est la vie.

While i'm sad that this story is discontinued I'm happy that you gave us a sense of closure which a lot of authors don't.

So essentially a rehash of the episodes. I'm curious what the turning point is when he does what needs doing rather than failing at it. Perhaps the bit with his sister when she comes to become the new head of area 11.

Not going to lie, the start to this chapter was hard to read. I understand they're in a war, but was it necessary for C.C. to kill that woman and her husband?

As for everything else, things seem to be going smoothly. We have an intermission before the next big event, which makes me curious. Given all the deviations from the anime, I wonder how big an impact Mao's going to have. If my memory serves me right, he appeared right after the Battle of Narita.

Poor Cornelia. Poor Suzaku. Poor Shirley. . . .

No matter what happens in war, no matter which side you take, someone always suffers, and we all hold some share of the blame. I hope Lelouch comes to realize that.

A very intense battle. I'm still a little disturbed to see Euphie fighting, but at least she's not a mindless murdering puppet. THANK GOD.

As for Cornelia, I can't help but feel sorry for her. I may like Lelouch and understand it was part of his plan, but his taunts to Cornelia were vicious. I couldn't blame her for getting angry.

Anyway, another good chapter! You're getting good at combining action, description, and dialogue.

Thank you for explaining Euphie's Geass command. Not going to lie, I was really worried at the end of Chapter 5. Part of me is still worried. I can't but think that something is going to go wrong later, but I hope, in the end, Euphie will stand by Lelouch's side in helping to make a better world, and will live with her brother and sister.

Also, I love the romance with Kallen and Lelouch. Kallen's love does feel a lot warmer. And the decision to NOT have sex was a very proud and noble moment for Lelouch. Their feelings aren't based on lust, but love, and that makes a big difference.

Well . . . I wasn't expecting that ending. So bloody. I mean, Euphie is so kind and despises violence, so it surprises me to hear her say that so calmly. I wonder if something else happened between her and Lelouch inside the hotel. I just hope this isn't the result of Geass. What happened to Euphie at the SAZ broke my heart. I hope we don't lose her again.

But, I'm sure Lelouch wouldn't want any harm to come to Euphie. So I'll keep reading to find out what happened. Anyway, good chapter. Your detail is vivid and the dialogue is enjoyable to read aloud.

A good chapter. The dialogue was well written, and I look forward to where this series is headed with these changes. I wonder how much will change with these choices Lelouch makes so early on.
