Nice story ! It's very, very unusual to have Myrtle as a character, so kudos to you for even thinking of writing about her. Besides, I've always been dissatisfied with the way Myrtle was treated (or rather, dismissed) in canon and most fictions. I like her, strangely enough.

I don't believe anyone can be as shallow as she's described in canon; and being bullied and dying because of it sure sounds like bad enough to cause a trauma. It's very uncharitable of everyone to just forget about her, so thank you for re-establishing her a a true character of Harry Potter, with depth if you please ! :P

PS - I'm putting it on Alert list. In case you decide to scratch the itch, if there's an itch. However, I'll also accept the Oneshot form, it's well-written and concise and well, complete. I mean, yours stands in and of itself, which is how a good oneshot should be.
