This is one of first DMC fics I read and I fell in love with it. It's beautifully written, the angst hurts just the right amount and the mystery! I'm very curious about is happening to Nero. Did he really die and his demonic side is what keeps him on the Earth? Is this is why holy water burns him so much?

I like the darker twist of Danero in this story too. It hurts but it's also interesting to read how Nero reacts to Dante.

I really wish you will finish this story! Or maybe just tell us what happens if you don't feel like writing it? ;)

I don’t remember when I started reading but only now I got to this chapter. It’s been a hell lf a ride and I could never imagine how the author’s been faring! Although I think the self criticism is a bit too strong, cause I loved this story and I’m a very hard to please motherfucker.

I’m 100% here for the gore and absolutely relishing in it. The descriptions are so enthralling! My heart is beating out of my chest and my tears are staining my phone, it is all gross and very palpable and everyone’s bleeding everywhere. I’m bouncing between thrills and sadness whenever a rib cracks or a throat gets crushed.

I’m either shit at reading the mood (which I absolutely am) or there’s an unreliable narrator in our hands (which I really like). I haven’t a clue why Dante believes Nero’s sending mixed messages. He’s constantly resisting and cursing and demanding him to stop, only giving in after constant insistence in a very dub-con way (during most of the erotic scenes). I’m uncomfortable all the time, but also very eager to know how the hell everything will unravel and when the fuck is Nero gonna stop beating himself up so much and open his eyes. I want them to end up happily...
To quote the boy himself, “Nothing like being completely fucking paranoid of the one person who has consistently tried to help you.” I can’t blame him at all, though. Dante is an absolute madman and I’m afraid too. This depiction is unique and unpredictable as dicks.

I love me some good whump (although I’m relieved to the moon and back that Lady made it out alive...!) and I never thought I’d enjoy this torture so much. How could this situation be fixed at all? I’m no good at speculating and can only imagine the worst case scenario... it sure is a fun outcome but holy shit it’s bad for everyone involved. How can anyone be happy in this story!? Howww!?

If this is ever finished, I will give you my left lung. If not, thanks for the ride! It was as pleasing as eating an entire buffet before getting hanged in the gallows. In a good way!

This was wonderful to read. I will admit it seemed to not really go anywhere in the beginning but in the last few chapters it really took off, and I really enjoyed that.
