Reviews for Jane
mdpc chapter 34 . 5/24/2015
I see in some of your stories you like to make Roy fall for
other women, and Joanne always there to understand.
That is rubbish, I don't think for a minute that Joanne
would put up with anything like you write. It always
seemed to me, in the show, that Roy cared what his
wife thought, and I can't see him caring this way for
someone else. I think if Joanne had ever felt this way for
someone, it would really not have been ok with Roy. But
good ole Joanne just takes it in these stories, and it
is tiresome.

be careful.

oh. A zippy courtship for sure. I guess when you know it's right - and everyone is on your case - and the guy you love could die or be hurt at any time, it makes for a speedier courtship.

Because I had read the other one first, I was caught a bit off guard by their relationship being at this point. But it's all cool. That's what is so nice about creating your own universe thru writing.

pretty intense.

I guess there's not much of a call for french in CA, is there?

Well, Jane has certainly fallen for Johnny . I wonder if they can make a go of it. Although, I guess I do know, since I read the part 2 first.

so johnny's going to brag on his cooking? oh dear!

I like the little bit of shyness they both show.

wow! I'm impressed. A long, detailed, interesting tale w/ true to life characters - all for your first FF? well done!

I look forward to seeing what else you may write.

Good luck! (w/ writing and a houseful of teens)

:)

Hey. I read this story a while back and thought I reviewed it, but what do you know? I didn't!

Anyway, I became a huge fan of Emergency! recently and instantly began hunting E! fanfictions.

First of all, I, adoring Mr. Johnny Gage, have an extremely hard time seeing him with a wife. The closest he ever got to having a wife in the series was being engaged to the girl in Details. Johnny always struck me as the forever bachelor kind of guy. But, you managed to pull it off quite nicely, if I do say so!

Also, it made me laugh how accident prone Jane is. Everytime I'd read a new chapter, I was wondering how she would get hurt in it. I think that made hers and John's relationship stronger, though.

Absolutely beautiful and well-written. I enjoyed every word of this fanfiction!

Johnny better hope that Jane will listen to him, you can only be pushed away and ignored so long before you stop coming back.

Johnny is digging a hole! Never go to bed mad!

At least Roy didn't just let her think everything was fine until something really came of it. I know people won't believe you if you tell them their other half is cheating BUT at least give them something to go on, don't wait unti lthey find out and then say well everyone KNEW! and they did, it was just YOU in the dark! Those aren't friends.

Cute! and some great ideas! We just don't sleep at our station or eat there often. But good ideas.

Great story so far, I've read the first 16 chapters at worka nd can't log in to review. Hope to read more soon if we are slow or here at home. I'll review when I can. I like that their relationship and Jane's whole career has done a 180. Anyone who has lived a few years has that T-shirt. I planned to be a bookeeper, I could have taken a couple years college, then take my Mom's job after working with her a year, however she passed away while I was in Elem School. My first job was a waitress / cook doing fast food, but that is where I learned that no matter what your job or pay you be a professional and your best. My first 'professional' job I had for 11 1/2 years as a Correctional Officer. I started by working the floors and moved up to Sgt. and Watch Commander, then into a civilain position as a Unit Manager and movement co-ordinator. (Jobs I'd done previously as a Watch Commander but with a new name.) We got some new administration, 6 wks after he'd arrived we had it out on a Friday, he had 4 hours on Monday to know I wasn't coming in. I drew Unemployment for 6 months due to a hostile work envirnoment and now I have a job with half the pay, half the work, as much if not more responsibility and the same retirement plan. I've been Dispatching at our 911 center almost 2 years and since one job isn't enough I do mapping in the down time. We are working on getting street addresses for all out residences instead of house 32 next to house 400 just past the old market that burnt 5 years ago. So I'm glad to see Jane grow. Hope to read more soon.
