Wow, a very interesting take on an Ardeth/Rick relationship. Love it. I see you posted this awhile ago, but if you are ever in the mood to write more to it, I'd certainly love to see it.

This is a great "mini-prequel" (as I call it) to the first movie. It didn't take long for me to fall for this pairing when I first saw the movie. Too bad there aren't enough fic writers who feel the same. :/ Oh well.

This was such a joy to read, other than the pain Ardeth had to endure for over 100 years. I imagine Jebari was a little younger than Rick is currently, am I right? It just felt that way as I read into Jebari's personality.

To be honest, I already knew that this fic was gonna be a one-shot, given the theme and set-up. If you wrote any further, you would be making an AU version of the movie itself. Which I wouldn't mind at all, btw. ;) I LOVE the movie to bits, but I wouldn't be a true slash fan if the concept of how the movie would have gone if the main couple was Ardeth/Rick didn't go through my head.

In that light, you've painted a nice picture for me to see whenever I watch that movie from now on. :) For that, I thank you. So whether you decide to continue this or not, just know that you have done a good service with this fic of yours.

Welp this was abso-fucking-lutly incredible. This is just... WOW...I actually shed a few tears here and let me tell you it takes alot to make me shed tears. Anyways this was perfectly writen and one of the best Ardeth/Rick fics I have read. Keep writing 'cuz if you make more chapters belive me I will be on this faster than a Nymphomaniacs on Porn.

Hmm,this one looks interesting. I've recently fallen into fascination with this pairing and there are just so few of them. I'm very interested to see where this goes, that is if you decide to continue it... question of clarification though... did all the med jai live forever or just ardeth? because the last scene would indicate that all the medjai know the prince... ie were alive at the time of the pharaohs as well... just a thought. :) Can't wait!
