I, for one love this au, and for the record thought the smut and length was wonderful. Also, people, if a story isn't your type, move on, don't leave hateful reviews, some of us appreciate that these authors that take their time to give us stories.

Maybe it's me being impatient or the fact that it is two in the morning, but these vacation chapters are starting to drag on despite the adorable fluff.

Just realized I could have sent that long note as a PM... sorry... didn't realize about all the functionality here... I'm still a newbie...

I know you said not to review, but I hadn't written anything the previous 79 chapters.
I am new to reading fan fiction, and I struggle to comment after each chapter... especially when something is complete and you read a whole bunch of chapters in a sitting. For me, the thought of doing that interrupts me from the world the writer has created that I enjoy being in. My plan was always to review at the end and for it to be in an overall sense.
That all being said, I read this chapter or final note, and I now get what you mean about needing that feedback as you go for help, motivation, and drive to flesh out and finish the story...
I know I'm reading this years after the fact and that I have to take all those author notes in context of the time they were written... and to a degree, while I also feel my comments aren't needed after all this time, I wanted to reach out and say that I will be a commenter from now on. It will probably not be every chapter, as per above, but from every sitting I can start to do. So, thanks for the insight on why reviewing is important to the authors.
Lastly, your story itself. I have long been a Castle fan. Watched it each week, have rewatched the entire series a couple of times... probably safe to say I'm obsessed, and that I miss Beckket and Castle... so I have been delving into the fanfiction to get new stories that way. While I do think this was long and drawn out at times, I did enjoy revisiting all the characters and some of your scenes had me laughing and thinking, "yeah, I could see how they could have done that."... and I'm thinking that is probably the best thing you were hoping for. In any case, I did enjoy The Plan and will look for the blizzard too as that was mentioned in your notes and now I am intrigued. Sorry for the long note, but thanks again for the read and the insight. :)

I love this story, and I really hate for it to end. You captured the essence of Caskett with emotion and humor. I especially liked that it was a long story! I look forward to more of your stories! Thank you!
